In the shadows I sleep, I pray for the Devil my soul to keep.
He watches upon me, my body his prey. His riveting gaze wards the Spirit away.
He drags my body down, merely a broken shell. The shell houses nothing but fear and loathing, his favorite smell.
Down into the darkness we fall, the abyss of ravenous stink. This unholy trench reeks of death and decay, this pit forever on the brink.
I summoned this Demon, this monster of mine. If I can escape his grasp, please someone give me a sign.
Creatures surround the further we wander: they yell and yell. Perhaps one day I will awaken, only time will tell.
